Mecmesin Emperor Lite system transforms test data

A Mecmesin product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 25, 2008

Mecmesin has announced that its Emperor Lite data acquisition package enables users to analyse and transform force and torque test data from numbers into graphs and results.

Plotting data 'live' directly onto a PC screen, the software operates with a simple graphical interface providing instant access to a variety of popular diagnostic tools.

These include an list of common calculations, for example, peak, trough, average, area and more, while colour-coded results allow easy identification of pass/fail scenarios.

Multiple traces can be overlaid for comparative analysis and are fully customisable.

For areas of particular interest, zoom and timeline functions offer the option to pinpoint and view areas of the test in greater detail.

Tolerance bands ensure a quick and easy check of whether samples fall within specification.

Test data can be exported to other software packages, such as Microsoft Excel for further analysis or printed as a report combining graph and test information for a quick record.

A help system contains a library of information and a search facility providing a useful reference resource.

Emperor Lite can be configured to work with a range of Mecmesin force and torque test equipment, including the Multitest-d motorised test system; the Orbis and Tornado manual digital torque testers and Mecmesin's range of digital force and torque gauges.
