Out-of-the-box Internet-enabled weighing
terminal

Mettler Toledo's new Jagxtreme industrial terminal is the industry's first out-of-the-box, Internet-enabled weighing terminal It incorporates industry standard open connectivity, including TCP/IP and Ethernet, to facilitate communication with companies' LAN, WAN, automation or enterprise systems

This allows applications to be monitored and provides remote access for product setup and maintenance.

The terminal connects to PCs and other devices using commonly available cables and hubs, eliminating the need for special equipment or proprietary technology.

The terminal also features an embedded web server that enables product configuration, diagnostics and maintenance from remote locations via the Internet.

Setup changes can be made from anywhere in the World using tools already available on a PC.

The Jagxtreme is the fastest terminal on the market, capable of operating four scales simultaneously and has more memory than standard industrial terminals - meaning there is more space for custom programs, data and software options.

It is also the first weighing solution to employ predictive failure analysis.

The Jagxtreme terminal can perform a self-diagnosis to predict failures before they occur, provide detailed information on the types of failures, track its own maintenance, and be programmed to alert designated individuals of potential failures or maintenance needs via email.

This results in reduced downtime and makes preventative maintenance and trouble shooting easier than ever.

The terminal's built-in maintenance log is very useful for applications that require rigorous ISO or other quality assurance programs regarding calibration maintenance.

In addition, the terminal can be programmed to shut down if scheduled calibration has not been performed.

For those customers who already have a Jaguar terminal, upgrading existing terminals is very easy, as the Jagxtreme is completely compatible.

The new terminal also operates like its predecessor, which reduces training time for previous Jaguar users. Request a free brochure from Mettler Toledo ...
