Dissolved oxygen transmitter for hazardous areas
Thanks to many functions and features new to 2-wire instruments, plus a particularly straightforward user interface, Mettler Toledo's 4220X transmitter is aimed at DO measurements in hazardous areas
Designed for chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other process industries, the scale terminal has a resolution of up to 10,000 divisions (5,000e EC approved) and can accommodate as many as eight 350-ohm analogue load cells in a single scale.
The two built-in setpoints can be used in automatic batching systems to provide a safety cut-off to prevent overfilling.
In manual batching applications, these setpoints can be used to control the feeding of two materials.
For static checkweighing, the terminal offers a choice of three zones (over/OK/under) or five zones (over/heavy OK/OK/light OK/under).
It also incorporates TraxDSP electronic filtering, unit switching, motion detection and indication and storage of zero and tare values during power loss conditions.
The Panther is available as a panel mount or in a stainless steel enclosure (IP65) for desk, wall or column mounting.
Safety barriers are an option for use with scales in hazardous areas. Request a free brochure from Mettler Toledo ...
