Mettler-Toledo reckons it has the most extensive range of hazardous area weighing products available.
These include compact, bench, floor, custom and vehicle scales as well as load cells and terminals.
The ID7sx terminal is intrinsically safe and can be used in zones 1 and 21.
The robust housing guarantees protection to IP65/66, allowing thorough cleaning in environments where hygiene and safety are critical.
The versatile terminal can be connected to a range of scale bases with load capacities up to 12t and a certifiable readability of up to 1g.
The Viper range of scales has been further enhanced by the introduction of zone 1 hazardous area ATEX approved versions.
The Viper Ex, available in 6 weighing ranges of 1.5, 3, 6, 15, 35 and 60kg and three platform sizes, offers either standard or high resolution weighing accuracy.
Serial data communication to the safe area is achieved by means of a combined power supply and interface board.
A choice of power supplies is available for either hazardous or safe area installation, with the latter version capable of powering up to three Viper Ex scales with associated data interfaces.
