The TMA/SDTA841e thermal analyser adds low-temperature measurement capabilities to the Mettler Toledo TMA range.

The TMA/SDTA841e measures the dimensional and mechanical properties of materials as a function of temperature - for example the expansion coefficient of composite materials used in aircraft and the softening point of many polymers over the temperature range from -150 to +600C.

With a patented mechanical design and dimensional resolution of 5nm, the analyser provides the most accurate measurements.

It offers numerous features including: automatic control of the cooling system; SDTA technology; a new magnetic coupling for attachment of measuring probes; and a DLTMA measuring mode.
