Mettler introduces conductivity sensor

A Mettler Toledo product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 17, 2009

Mettler Toledo has launched the four-electrode Inpro 7100 conductivity sensor.

These sensors are for mid to high conductivity measurement, with a large selection of materials and geometries to fit each process application.

Together with Mettler's wide range of static and retractable housings, the Inpro 7100 is suitable for food and beverage and chemical applications, saving on installation costs and providing flexibility in installation options.

The Inpro 7100 features Mettler's Widerange technology, allowing the combination of compact design - making installation easy - with a very wide measuring range of 0.02-500mS/cm.

The Peek shaft material offers high resistance against aggressive solutions and is particularly suitable in processes with frequent SIP/CIP cycles, ensuring long lifetime and better measurement performance.

The Inpro 7100's fast response time allows quick detection of process changes, leading to better process control.

This means that yield is increased, product quality is improved and production costs are lower.
