Metalock Industrial Services, which specialises in the repair of cracked and broken castings and precision on-site machining, has appointed Dave Sexton as Managing Director.

As part of a management restructure to reflect its industry needs for the new millennium, Metalock Industrial Services has appointed Dave Sexton as Managing Director.

Dave has been with the company over 5 years, has a financial background, and is supported by a management team which has over 35 years of technical engineering experience.

At the company's Coventry headquarters there is Jeff Ryan specialising in on-site-machining, David Fowler whose forte is the Metalock process and Mike Fish concentrating on sales and marketing.

The company has regional workshops in Dartford with Martyn Green, and Glasgow with Willie Aitken.

Metalock Engineering UK, as it is soon to be known, is a mechanical services company specialising in the repair of cracked and broken castings and precision on-site machining to a diverse range of industries across the globe, including marine, manufacturing, power generation and the pressings and forging industries.

The patented Metalock process is a cold stitching technique that enables castings to be repaired without causing distortion or changing the material grain structure.

Commenting on the changes Dave Sexton said that the type of work that we undertake is traditional but the industries that we work in are constantly changing.

We have made these management changes to reflect that, and are now in a position to move forward and increase our market share, both in the UK and especially overseas.
