300kW dynamometers offer big advantages
Permanent magnet motors in a new range of dynamometers with continuous ratings up to 300kW help eliminate gears, achieves ultra-low inertia and provide superior control capabilities.
Now, however, because of the increasing strength of the Japanese Yen and weakness of the Euro this all embracing package has had to be reviewed in order to restore a level playing field situation with its European competitors.
As a result of the rationalisation, Meiden will now be offering its drives at an even more competitive price than before with the backing of free telephone support.
However, like other drives manufacturers, on-site support will become a chargeable service.
"Put simply", says Andy Gardner, European Business Manager, "Meiden is still very much in the UK drives business.
Our new even more aggressive pricing policy backed by a support policy equal to that of our competitors will, I believe, see Meiden continue to grow at the same 30% year on year as previously achieved." He also added that the difficulties experienced by the company through the imbalance of the currency exchange rates was a common factor for Asian manufacturers.
