Gossen, Muller and Weigert differential probes are designed to provide safe connections (to IEC1010-2-031, Cat III) for oscilloscopes in single and three-phase mains voltage applications.

Gossen, Muller and Weigert differential probes are designed to provide safe connections (to IEC1010-2-031, Cat III) for oscilloscopes in single and three-phase mains voltage applications Such applications include monitoring voltage waveforms in electrical control and electronic drive systems

Having differential inputs, adjustable attenuation and an isolated BNC output allows these probes to interface floating high voltage connections to normal Class I grounded oscilloscope inputs.

The top specification model GE 8115 is suitable for inputs up to +/-1.5kV, has attenuation factors of x100 or x1000 with a bandwidth of 30MHz, and outputs +/-1.5V into a 1Mohm oscilloscope input.

Power is supplied by an internal 9V battery, or external DC supply.
