The recently launched IPP 144-40G/GE range of Gossen, Muller and Weigert graphics panel printers, supplied by Metrix Electronics, are now available from RS Components worldwide.

The IPP 144-40G's multistandard RS232/422/485/TTY serial data interface provides compatibility with many controllers, PCs, PLCs, DPMs, counters and message displays.

Its long-life, fixed, thermal printhead mechanism, enables high-speed, high resolution printing (8 to 48 columns) of alphanumeric text, barcodes or bitmap graphics on 80mm "document proof" thermal paper (image retention up to 10 years in normal conditions).

Units are available with a choice of AC or DC supply voltages.

Optional accessories include paper reroll unit and protective cover.

The enhanced IPP 144-40GE offers the same features as the basic IPP 144-40G plus the ability to print prestored messages, with embedded variable data, and automatically record date and time.

The IPP 144-40GE is compatible with Windows printer drivers and is available with a second RS232C, RS485, Profibus or USB interface to programme text memory, input text or graphics.
