Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Mar 8, 2006

Graphic displays, with Fieldbus or serial interfaces and touch keys, have 240 x 128 pixel backlit LCD, which can display text or graphics, with five membrane touch keys integrated into the IP65 facia.

Industrial Mitouch graphic displays, with a choice of Fieldbus or serial interfaces and touch keys, are available from Metrix Electronics.

They have a 240 x 128 pixel backlit LCD, which can display text or graphics, together with five membrane touch keys; all integrated into the IP65 sealed facia.

Electrically isolated data interfaces are for use in Profibus-DP, Canopen, Arcnet or RS232 and RS485 serial process control systems.

Mitouch displays are supplied with dedicated programming software and a second RS232 port enables character sets and graphics to be uploaded to the internal 512kbyte flash memory.

Their rugged 192 by 120mm metal housing is 38mm deep, and they require a 24V, 250mA DC power supply.
