Moritex has introduced high performance lenses, light sources, light guides and peripherals for machine vision infra-red applications The Moritex IR lighting and vision range includes micro machine lenses (MMLs), which are compact, low mass lenses based on a telecentric optical design

Applications include machine vision alignment, image gauging and surface inspection.

There are three fixed magnification MML lenses for IR applications providing 4x, 6x and 8x magnification.

All have a working distance of 80mm.

Also available are stable and safe lamp and LED light sources of differing function, size and intensity including designs with optional remote control operation.

IR LEDs come in four configurations - array type back light, bar type, ring and shadowless ring.

The MHF-D100LR-IR is a lamp light source providing illumination for semiconductor material applications.

The MSG4-1100S-HR is a heat resistant fibre light guide for use with the MHF-D100LR-IR IR light source.
