Designed to achieve high coupling efficiencies and low losses, Moritex aspheric lenses are produced to tight tolerances.

Designed to achieve high coupling efficiencies and low losses, Moritex aspheric lenses are produced to tight tolerances A glass-to-metal soldering technique lets the firm house the lenses in virtually any type of holder

By securing the lens in a designated holder reduces the number of parts enabling more compact designs and lower costs.

The lenses can be used for collimating light from a source or to focus light onto a fibre or waveguide.

Available in a choice of low loss AR coated optical glasses, the lenses can be optimised for a designated wavelength range.

Mounted or unmounted standard components, with diameters from 1.0 to 2.5mm and focal lengths 0.8 to 5.0 mm, are available.

Offering typically greater than 98% throughput at 1550nm, the lenses are for optical device packaging applications such as laser, transceiver and passive optical modules.
