Pilot scheme leads to major order
A European supplier of plastic parts to the automotive industry has followed a successful pilot implementation with an order for a significant plantwide deployment of Moldflow Manufacturing Solutions.
A major European supplier of plastic parts to the global automotive industry has followed a successful pilot implementation with an order for a significant plantwide deployment of Moldflow Manufacturing Solutions (MMS) products at its custom moulding plant In addition to their MMS implementation, this customer's engineering team is using the Moldflow Plastics Insight product suite to optimise product and mould designs for cost efficiency and high quality part production
The order, which is valued at over $580,000, is expected to ship during Moldflow's fourth fiscal quarter.
The decision to expand the scope of the MMS implementation validates the initial experience of a Manufacturing Solutions product installation and the quality of the technical support received from Moldflow over a number of years.
