The V-Flash Desktop Modeler enables designers, engineers, hobbyists and students to imagine, design and produce their ideas at their desks.

3D Systems has released the V-Flash Desktop Modeler, allowing users to build ready-to-use models within hours at home, school or office workstations.

The modeller enables designers, engineers, hobbyists and students to imagine, design and produce their ideas at their desks.

The V-Flash Desktop Modeler is the first product that 3D Systems plans to bring to market based on its Film Transfer Imaging (FTI) platform.

3D Systems expects to conduct a phased roll-out of its V-Flash Desktop Modeler, starting in the United States following its World Conference.

The company anticipates expanding the marketing reach of the V-Flash modeller into Europe during the first quarter of 2008.

"Our much anticipated V-Flash Desktop Modeler is what our customers have been awaiting - an easy to use, plug-and-play, economical model maker that expedites part delivery and revolutionises concept design as we know it", said Abe Reichental, 3D Systems' President and Chief Executive Officer.
