The Viper Pro SLA System manufactures parts with exceptional feature details, accuracy, surface finish and large part size that are ordinarily associated with CNC machining.

Acu-Cast Technologies has purchased its third and fourth Viper Pro SLA systems from 3D Systems, doubling its Pro Parts manufacturing capabilities for its customers for the second time in five months.

Acu-Cast installed its first Viper Pro SLA System in October 2007 and experienced an immediate and significant growth in its business.

In December 2007, Acu-Cast purchased a second system.

With faster speed and higher definition, the Viper Pro SLA System manufactures parts with exceptional feature details, accuracy, surface finish and large part size that are ordinarily associated with CNC machining.

Responding to increased demand for Pro Parts, Acu-Cast Technologies decided to double its Pro Parts manufacturing capacity for the second time this year with the purchase of two more 3D Systems' Viper Pro SLA Systems.

"Responding to the significant demand for Pro Parts, we felt the need for additional capacity to our rapidly growing stereolithography department", said Gary Mitchell, owner of Acu-Cast Technologies.

"We are in business to give our customers what they ask for and since we installed our first Viper Pro System we just couldn't keep up with demand for larger parts with good detail, quickly".

"With four Viper Pro SLA Systems in-house, we are positioning ourselves as a Pro Parts provider in North America with state of the art capacity to meet and exceed our customers' needs".

"We use the latest 3D Systems' Accura Materials to give our customers fast, precision prototyping as part of our mission to become an extension of our customers' design, tool room and manufacturing departments".
