At the heart of the new system is an AM radio transmitter fitted to the torque wrench and a multi-functional receiver unit, capable of receiving simultaneous signals from four independent tools.
All models are battery powered and feature a large alpha/numeric LCD readout with operator selectable units of measurement and a choice of four languages.
Each tool has an on-board memory capacity of over 2000 values, date and time stamped.
Memorised readings may be downloaded to a PC using software supplied, via an RS232 bi-directional serial link.
The software is designed for the easy transfer of readings for SPC analysis and is Windows and MS Excel compatible.
The package includes full instructions, traceable calibration certificate, RS232 interface cable and CD-ROM download software.
