The Torqueleader PETA personal electronic torque analyser system brings a revolutionary approach to torque calibration and analysis.
Torque wrench links by radio
At the heart of the new system is an AM radio transmitter fitted to the torque wrench and a multi-functional receiver unit, capable of receiving simultaneous signals from four independent tools.
Torque Calibration Analyser goes portable
The Torqueleader ?TorqueMaster ETCA' (Electronic Torque Calibration Analyser) is now offered in a Mains and Battery version that add portability to the product's impressive range of features.
Details on up to 100 different tools and 100 transducers can be stored.
The latest release of PETA has been enhanced to offer user-settable filters to improve accuracy of readings when power tool testing.
The PETA system comprises a unique, high speed CF2 analogue to digital convertor card, working in conjunction with easy-to-use software, to display on a PC, laptop or PDA, the torque or force data recorded from any "industry standard" mV/V torque or force transducer.
Designed for the calibration of hand and powered torque tools, the PETA software can be loaded onto any handheld PDA, laptop or desktop PC running Microsoft Pocket PC or Windows 95 or above, allowing use of an existing computer rather than having a dedicated electronic display unit.
There is a choice of operating modes enabling track, peak, first peak and power tool testing for all types torque tool and torque applications When used on a laptop PC or PDA, the on-screen graphing and SPC analysis of recorded values means that the system is truly portable, giving instant results when production line testing.
These instantaneous graphical records and test results are automatically transferred to Microsoft Excel for further analysis and archiving.
This is a seamless data transfer where no complicated file manipulation is required.
PETA is ideal for operator training using the graphical display of applied torque, for tool pre- setting and calibration, for online quality audit of previously tightened fasteners and for repeatability testing using its built in SPC facility.
An interactive demonstration CD-ROM is available from MHH Engineering.
