The new Torqueleader website aims to provide more than just product information for customers.

The new Torqueleader website aims to provide more than just product information for customers.

David Jackson (Sales and Marketing Director) explains: "The philosophy behind the new website is to connect with our customers by providing useful information in an imaginative and user friendly way".

As well as being easy to navigate, the site is W3C compliant.

This means that it conforms to web design guidelines laid down by the World Wide Web Consortium to help ensure interoperability.

This means that the Torqueleader website is accessible to all.

The website incorporates an intelligent tool selection system, which mirrors the process used by Torqueleader staff to guide customers to the correct tool.

There is also an information and learning zone, where customers can discover the theory behind torque, as well as a handy torque conversion program, where, at the click of a button torque values in any unit can be converted to a value in any other unit of measurement.

The site also features 3D animations, designed to show customers the principles behind three types of tool.

(Click tools, breaking handles and slipping tools).

These have been created by a young web designer who worked on the graphic elements of the hit movie "Batman begins".

He now works for Universal Pixel, which was commissioned to design the site.
