Torque wrenches evolve to new challenges

A MHH Engineering product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 2, 2006

The TBNS torque wrench has evolved from the successful TBN 2 and 10 wrenches, and features an all-new 8mm-spigot end fitting system.

New from MHH Engineering, the manufacturer of Torqueleader torque control tools, the TBNS torque wrench has evolved from the successful TBN 2 and 10 wrenches, and features an all-new 8mm-spigot end fitting system.

This enables the TBNS to accept a wide range of easily interchangeable Torqueleader end fittings.

Two models cover a torque range from 0.2 to 10Nm, making the wrenches ideal for the assembly of small components.

They also retain the well proven operating mechanism of the current model.

A 20-degree "break" action considerably reduces the risk of overtightening, ensuring quality and efficiency in product assembly.

The TBNS is preset using a simple hex key (no special keys required) and a torque analyser.

Accuracy and repeatability exceed the minimum requirements of ISO6789:2003.
