CAD users are excited about the ability to deploy powerful mathematical capabilities to dramatically extend the range of analysis on CAD models.

Maplesoft has released several new language packs for the latest version of its flagship product, Maple 12.

Now available in Spanish, Brazilian-Portuguese, Greek, Chinese and Japanese, Maple 12 breaks new ground in mathematics and engineering software, with an extensive new feature set.

Since its release a few weeks ago, Maple has received many positive reviews for its direct connectivity between Maple 12 and popular CAD systems such as SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor.

CAD users are excited about the ability to deploy powerful mathematical capabilities to dramatically extend the range of analysis on CAD models.

With the release of the language editions for Maple, these new enhancements are more widely accessible to users around the world.

"With the language packs, we are sure that Maple's reach will grow significantly", said Jim Cooper, CEO of Maplesoft.

"Engineers and scientists, educators and researchers in different regions will now be able to access the unique power of Maple in a language of their choice".

"This new version of Maple will help Japanese engineers reach new levels in the use of engineering software", said Yoichi Mizoguchi, Board Member and General Manager, Cybernet Systems, Maplesoft's reseller partner in Japan.

"Building on earlier editions, Maple 12 will continue to transform the way engineers in our country take advantage of maths-based software for engineering analysis".
