All Digimar CX2 height gauges feature fully motorised measuring slides that minimise operator influence on part probing for greater measurement precision and repeatability.
Key measuring functions can be executed with a single press of a button; and readily programmable measuring routines make it possible to sample batches of mass-produced parts quickly and easily.
Numerous measuring and evaluation functions include the measurement of planes, grooves, bores and shafts, and the calculation of distances and symmetries.
Max-min measurements are also supported, as are perpendicularity measurements in conjunction with a digital dial indicator.
Canned routines for basic features and simple teach and learn techniques make it easy to program the CX2 for a wide range of measurement tasks.
The Digimar CX2 family begins with a measuring range of 350mm, goes through 600mm, and ends with a large capacity version offering 1000mm.
All units can be extended over 317.5mm using standard accessories.
The system's resolution is 0.01/0.001mm and is repeatable to 0.002mm.
The two smaller units weigh less then 16kg, making them easy to move about on a surface plate without supplemental air bearings.
On the large unit a built-in air pump provides a cushion of air for easy gauge positioning to the part.
All CX2s provide digital output for computerised data collection or statistics printer.
