Promotion for Picone
Tony Picone has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer and President of Mahr Federal.
Tony Picone has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer and President of Mahr Federal Picone, who had been the company's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for the past four years, replaces Craig Crossley who has resigned to pursue other interests

Mahr Federal has a new family of surface finish gauging fixtures specifically designed to measure difficult and often inaccessible automotive component surfaces right on the shop floor.
Mahr Federal manufactures and markets dimensional metrology products critical to manufacturing operations across a broad range of industries.
Part of the German based Mahr Group, Mahr Federal is responsible for marketing all Mahr Group products in North America, Canada and Mexico.

Prior to joining Mahr Federal in 2001, Picone held a number of leadership roles within the US Department of Defense and several multinational corporations.
He served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Fry Technology, a member of the Cookson Electronics Group and held a number of senior financial and operations management positions within the London based Invensys Group.
He is a graduate of Dowling College with a BBA in accounting.
