Following its investment of £20million in enhancing its UK operations, Mitsubishi's successful Customer Technology Centre has opened its first Regional Automation Centre in Wakefield.

Covering the North of England, the new office will provide sales support, training and a mini version of the Hatfield demonstration facilities.

Steve Jones, Mitsubishi's Divisional Manager stated, " Our Customer Technology Centre (CTC) at Hatfield has been a key differentiator, in growing our market share, in very tough market conditions.

I am confident that the Wakefield office will mirror this and provide even better support for our customers and partners in the North".

There are plans to extend the concept nationwide, to support key distribution partners such as BPX, LCA and Pneumatic Lines and Mitsubishi's new system integrator MSP programme.
