Steve Jones has been promoted to Mitsubishi Electric's Vice President of Factory Automation European Business Group, after two years as UK Divisional manager.

Steve Jones has been promoted to Mitsubishi Electric's Vice President of Factory Automation European Business Group, after two years as UK Divisional manager Roger Payne, previously Jones' deputy has stepped up to fill his role, with one of his first tasks being to start recruitment for five new strategic sales positions

These changes are part of an ongoing programme to allow Mitsubishi companies across Europe to work together more closely and follow last spring's harmonisation of European stockholding.

As the programme progresses more and more resources and support are being made efficiently available to each country, freeing the local managers to concentrate on their own markets.

Jones has worked for Mitsubishi Electric for 20 years taking various roles within the organisation, such as Sales Manager and Deputy Divisional Manager.

To broaden his experience he also spent a period of time seconded as Deputy Divisional Manager for the Mitsubishi Air Conditioning business.

Payne joined Mitsubishi 18 months after Jones, and has worked his way through the organisation from Field Applications Engineer to Customer Technology Centre Manager and Deputy Divisional Manager. Request free introductory details about products from Mitsubishi Electric Automation Systems ...
