What Microtherm claims to be the lowest prices ever for resettable PPTC's are the result of new production technology introduced by manufacturers, Bourns Electronics who are passing on the savings achieved to end users.

Further developments in PPTC multifuse designs include new low temperature strap-type MF-LS devices for applications in the re-chargeable battery industry.

Bourns specialist distributor, Microtherm, report increasing demand for surfact mount (MF-SM) and miniature surface mount (MF-MSM) versions which are now to be offered at eqally competitive prices.
