Long-established Drives supplier Superior Electric, have launched Warpdrive, their latest micro-stepping positioner Targeted at small OEM's and stand-alone applications, the single package Warpdrive handles motor currents to 6A and uses the bomb-proof D6 drive design, developed by Superior

With adequately fast 16-bit microprocessor, two serial ports, and a BCD interface for manual control, the versatile Warpdrive can be configured for the simplest single-axis repetitive moves or more complex motion to 32 axes.

Programming is supported by Superior's own graphic user interface, called Motionwriter - a Basic type intuitive language in a familiar Windows format.
