The Blue Line is a low cost range of Isel linear actuators, now available from Micromech, that have been designed to expand the opportunities for factory automation Overseas competition and high production costs means manufacturers are seeking ways to further automate the handling aspects of materials and products and the Blue Line can be a key element in cost cutting said Micromech

The aluminium profile comes in two cross section sizes 126mm x 72mm and 140mm x 87mm and lengths up to 2050mm.

The maximum speed for each range is 2.4 m/s and 5.0m/s respectively.

The carriages have re-circulating ball bearings running on two 8mm diameter precision shafts and a timing belt giving repeat accuracy of less than or equal to +/- 0.2mm, with load ratings of up to 40Kg.

The limit switch accuracy is < 0.1 mm.

To seal and protect the belt and gearing a hard cover is fitted as standard.

They can be supplied with or without motors fitted, mounted either end and with a choice of stepper or servo.

There are options for mounting feet, XY and XYZ brackets, couplings and drive bar for dual axis drive, and corrosion resistant versions are also available.

If the motors are fitted at the factory they can be integrated into the actuator, as can home and limit switches.
