By using matched components, the 400LXR Series linear servomotor tables from Micromech achieve optimum performance by combining slotless or iron-core motor technology with performance matched mechanical elements and feedback devices.
Fast response, high acceleration, smooth translation, high velocity and quick settling time describe the performance characteristics found in these tables while high repeatability, precise accuracy and submicron resolution define the positioning attributes.
With speedy velocities up to 4.5m/s and acceleration to 49m/s2 they still maintain high accuracy having an encoder resolution to 0.1um.
They are offered in three widths (100, 150 and 300mm), and travel lengths up to 3m to accommodate the size and performance requirements of many industries including life sciences, photonics, semiconductor and general automation.
The tables are clean-room compatible, designed for easy multi-axis mounting and incorporate a neat long life cable management system.
Essential for linear motor systems they also have a proven IP30 protective strip seal.
A vast assortment of options simplify the engineering challenges often confronted with base model positioning devices are available such as travel limit sensors, motor drives, encoder resolution, and pinning holes for tooling location make machine design and integration solutions easy.
The 400LXR's selection flexibility and mounting compatibility with the basic 400XR ballscrew driven tables enables single axis or complex multi-axis units to be configured in a straightforward manner.
For specialised applications requiring customisation they can be easily modified to suit or even engineered to a complete interactive linear motion system to desired specifications.
These excellent tables have taken the mystery, difficulty and cost out of integrating linear motor tables into high throughput precision positioning applications.
