One of the world's smallest noncontact temperature sensors is now available from Micro Epsilon.
One of the world's smallest noncontact temperature sensors is now available from Micro Epsilon The Optris CT is a noncontact infra-red temperature sensor claimed to lead the market in performance and ease of use
The new device is just 28mm in length and an M12 diameter.
It can measure temperatures from -40 to +900C, with a resolution of 0.1C, within 160ms.
The system is supplied with optical resolutions of 2:1, 15:1 and 20:1 as standard and the user is able to measure objects that have a diameter of just 0.6mm.
