Micro Technic A-S introduces a new line of distributed I/O control modules, the Micronix I/O product line.

The Micronix I/O Modbus-based modules can perform many different tasks in industrial applications such as remote process control, data acquisition, PC/PLC communication, machine control, supervisory systems, etc.

In the wide range of IEC1131 programmable modules with various combinations of digital and analogue in- and outputs, you actually get a mini-PLC in each I/O module.

The programmable modules can be connected to low-cost expansion modules thus providing cost-effective expansion of existing systems.

The Micronix Modbus I/O-modules enables communication to all types of process data like digital, analog and temperatur signals.

The modular design makes it easy to integrate Micronix I/O into your exiting systems and can always be configured for every immediate need.

The Micronix I/O series also supports its users with the best software for supervision, control, visualisation and regulation.

Application programmes or standard SCADA software access the data-base via a set of auxililary programmes including a DLL/DDE interface to Windows programmes.

Our software package also includes Windows-based development software, B-CON Windows.

The flexible distributed I/O system is based on the industrial Modbus standard from Modicon.

For applications needing wider coverage the public telephone lines (PSTN) and modem communication can be used.

Typical users of data acquisition and control via the Public Switch Telephone Network are the water industry, producers of power and heat, electricity companies and railways.

As the flexible and open ended structure of Micronix I/O is maintained for the telemetry products it is possible to build both large and small telemetry systems by combining the modules and the features of different Micronix I/O components.
