A new comprehensive catalogue from MiniTec details its wide range of belt, roller and timing belt conveyors and production transfer systems.
The 64 page catalogue includes component drawings and descriptions as well as "request for offer" enquiry forms that include all the necessary information to help simplify the design and purchasing of complete systems.
Available in hard copy or as a downloadable PDF from the company's website, this information resource will be of benefit to designers and purchasers of production and automated component transfer systems.
All products use MiniTec's machine building system with its unique Powerlock fastening system that is well proven for rapid assembly; a single-sized fastener design connects all profile sizes with no specific preparation, premachining or special tools required.
Conveyor systems in the range cover both standard and timing belt types with a choice of drives including plug-on motors, covered flange motors, centre drives and cylinder drives.
Conveyor materials for grip or smooth surfaces and antistatic coatings are available along with welded-on cams and corrugated edges to order.
Roller conveyor options include nondriven and plug-on motor variants with PVC, aluminium or steel rollers.
Fixed or variable lateral guides may also be specified.
To further assist conveyor designers, a software module in MiniTec's CADmenu construction software will automatically calculate and specify complete conveyor systems and generates a complete parts list of components to reduce design time and simplify purchasing.
MiniTec's Transfer System consists of standard modules that can be combined in a number of ways to create tailor-made solutions for component assembly, inspection stations and automated manufacturing systems.
A number of system concepts are suggested in the new catalogue including basic loop, vertical and U-type circuits which may be supplied in combination for the most efficient component handling configuration.
A wide range of components are detailed in the new catalogue including frame systems and extensions, motor modules, curve modules, work piece trays, sensors, stoppers and positioners.
As with the conveyor systems, inquiry forms are available for simple circuit styles with MiniTec UK's application engineers available to help design and specify solutions for more complex or specialised requirements.
