Edited by the Engineeringtalk Editorial Team on 30 January 2007

Roller table can be adapted to fit the
application

A new heavy duty chain-driven gravity roller table can transport loads of up to 300kg amd may be specified in working lengths and widths, with adjustable height to match the customer's application.

A new heavy duty chain-driven gravity roller table has been added to MiniTec's extensive range of conveyor and materials handling systems Capable of transporting loads of up to 300kg, the new RFK 300 may be specified in working lengths and widths, with adjustable height to exactly match the customer's application

The new roller table is designed using MiniTec's profile rail machine building system with a choice of 45mm x 45mm or 45mm x 90mm sections using the unique "Powerlock" fastening system that is well proven for rapid assembly.

Single or double-chain drive, roller materials, bearings, wheels or feet and a wide choice of standard accessories are available to tailor the system to the dimensions, loads and the ergonomics demanded by the job.

The RFK 300 uses bearings that are fixed and aligned within the profile system, simultaneously providing the guide and the cover for chains and chain wheels - offering protection and an aesthetically pleasing design solution.

The new roller complements the broad range of conveying and roller transport systems available from MiniTec's Conveyor Systems catalogue.

Belt and roller conveyors, with or without drives for components and materials from 0.5kg to 300kg can be supplied separately or as part of complete transfer system solutions.

The MiniTec machine framing range is based around a wide selection of attractively finished, extruded aluminium profiles to match application load and layout requirements.

Machine frames, enclosures and guards are simply assembled using complementary components that include hinges, handles, panels, feet, wheels, doors, sensors, and switches.

Power transmission and machine control components available include linear bearings and timing belts as well as linear and rotary motorised tables, gantry positioning systems and motion controls.

In addition to in-house assembly or component supply, MiniTec UK also provides an on-site installation service aimed at customers requiring flexibility, predictable expenditure and reliable project scheduling.

For those preferring to build their own MiniTec machine building systems, design is simplified with a choice of resources that is the envy of the machine framing industry.

Automation system designers can choose from hard copy or downloadable PDF catalogues, an on-line e-catalogue, ICAD software for AutoCAD and CADmenu for other systems, or with the web-based i-CAD interactive software that allows customers to view, examine and download 2D or 3D CAD files for each component in the range and produce a complete parts list.
