MiniTec Maschinenbau has acquired the Spanish flexible assembly line and belt conveyor systems company Profi-team.
Machine building and framing specialist MiniTec Maschinenbau, the parent company of MiniTec UK has recently acquired the Spanish flexible assembly line and belt conveyor systems company Profi-team.
A new company, MiniTec Espana has been formed to provide sales and support for all of the MiniTec group products to the Spanish and South American markets and to provide a manufacturing base and technical centre for the world-wide sales of Profi-team products through MiniTec's manufacturing plants in seven countries and sales partners in over 30 countries.
The acquisition will add strength and depth to MiniTec's UK and worldwide presence with the ability to provide an even wider range of products and solutions for machine builders and OEMs.
In addition to its Profile System and Linear System machine building components and systems, MiniTec UK will also be able to provide fully integrated flexible manufacturing systems as well as belt, chain and roller conveyor based assembly and test lines built to customer specifications.
Full details of these new products and services will be unveiled in the coming months.
