Under the new agreement, Petrotech will provide local stocks and service for Midland-ACS's market-leading range of 316 stainless steel valves and control equipment, which is used extensively in global oil and gas and petrochemical markets.

One of the key factors driving the worldwide growth of Midland-ACS is innovation in the form of its latest product offering, the Impact 2000T.

This is a modular approach to stainless steel valve actuation circuits that allows control panels to be manufactured in a fraction of the time previously taken; and offers a higher integrity solution.

The Impact 2000T system uses the company's own field- proven range of 316L stainless steel spool valves, poppet valves and filter/regulators.

Using a universal interface block, each item is bolted directly to the next, completely removing the need for the majority of the panel space and pipework normally associated with a pneumatic control circuit.

The reduction in panel space and pipework required routinely amounts to an overall weight reduction of 25% and a cost saving of up to 30% when compared with traditional actuator control assemblies.
