Hydraulically driven pumps in hydrogen
plant
Axsia recently completed the supply of a hydrogen generation plant, based on methanol cracking, which included two Primeroyal hydraulically driven dosing pumps, supplied by Milton Roy UK
In today's industry, metering pumps are required to meet ever increasing performance objectives as demonstrated by applications such as high pressure injection of additives in oil production to the pumping of thick, high temperature, corrosive liquids and abrasives Milton Roy's new Primeroyal pumps are one example of pumps which meet these high performance demands, as confirmed by a recent application on a methanol reforming hydrogen plant

Milton Roy's popular 'G' series of mechanically actuated diaphragm pumps has recently been extended following the introduction of the new all-metal GM version.
Axsia recently completed the supply of a hydrogen generation plant, based on methanol cracking, for Kvaerner Process Technology.
The contract was to design and supply a modular hydrogen plant complete with a PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) purification unit to be shipped to Taiwan.
Included in the equipment on the plant were two Primeroyal hydraulically driven dosing pumps, supplied by Milton Roy UK.
The pumps, which benefit from automatic control with 37 kW drive via an inverter, are capable of transferring 3000 litres / hour at pressures to 56 bar.
Primeroyal pumps can be supplied with diaphragm or plunger liquid ends, with or without stroke adjustment and in a choice of configurations, such as simplex or multiplex.
Their modular design means a high degree of flexibility combined with easier upgrading and maintenance.
They are available with numerous options such as; double diaphragm, diaphragm failure detection, double check valves, spring loaded valves, slurry configuration, food grade design, cooling / heating jacket and automated flow control. Request a free brochure from Milton Roy Europe ...
