At just 20mm diameter, Motion Control Products reckons the FL20STH is the smallest hybrid stepper motor in the world.

The FL20STH and FL28STH are NEMA 8 and 11 high-torque two-phase 1.8-degree bipolar hybrid stepper motors.

By using the appropriate microstepping driver designers can obtain up to 51200 microsteps per revolution and achieve a lower step error than using a five-phase stepper motor.
