The 35BYZ range of low-cost 35mm-diameter linear noncaptive stepper motors are 12V, two-phase bipolar devices weighing in at just 86g.

Available now from Motion Control Products, the 35BYZ range of low-cost 35mm-diameter linear noncaptive stepper motors are 12V, two-phase bipolar devices weighing in at just 86g.

The step angle is 7.5 degrees and the motors can travel 0.025mm per step with a maximum stroke of 60mm.

The simplified design can reduce OEM component counts in linear movement systems, and the extremely low costs compared with alternatives can result in lower system costs without compromising performance.

These linear stepper motors are ideal for applying to medical equipment, small machinery, instrumentation, valve control and any other applications where precise linear motion is required.
