Motion Control Products has released the Fast-Back integrated digital motor/drive combination, offering decentralised speed and position control in a very compact package The Fast-Back increases designer freedom in machine layout with a decentralised structure while reducing the cost of ownership due to simplified installation, commissioning and service costs

The FBK range is available in single and three-phase variants (230V) with two frame sizes (75 and 100mm) and four stack lengths (230-373mm) offering up to 7.5Nm continuous stall torque and 15Nm peak.

True decentralisation comes from the integrated motion controller with internal EMC line filter offering the highest level of suppression.

Position feedback comes courtesy of a 2048CPR encoder.

Integrated communication via CAN OPEN is included plus MOD BUS via RS232/RS485 and the Fast-Back is fully-programmable using the Speeder-One software interface.
