Megatech has a new range of high quality nanomechanical test equipment, manufactured by US-based Hysitron.
Megatech has a new range of high quality nanomechanical test equipment, manufactured by US-based Hysitron.
The instruments in the range are designed to measure material properties such as modulus and hardness at the nanometre scale.
The TriboIndenter is an ultra-low-load test system designed to measure the nanomechanical properties of thin films and materials accurately.
Other features include accurate surface roughness mapping, and multi-sample automation.
The Ubi 1 is a stand-alone scanning nanoindenter with exclusive in-situ SPM imaging to enhance function and performance and is capable of several types of quasi-static testing including NanoScratch, NanoWear and Nanoindentation.
The TriboScope can be fitted to an AFM to provide basic nanomechanical test capability.
These products are manufactured to the highest standards and have applications in the materials research, semiconductor, plastics, engineering and manufacturing industries.
