United Space Alliance (USA), one of the world's leading space operations companies, has chosen McLaren to provide document and drawing management applications in a contract worth $295,000 The solution will upgrade USA's document and drawing management software while increasing control over its engineering drawing, release and change order system (ERDCOS) for operations personnel, engineers and drafting departments at the HQ in Houston, Texas

McLaren Software and FileNet Corp have collaborated in the launch of McLaren Enterprise Engineer for the FileNet P8 enterprise content management (ECM) platform.
USA will use McLaren's software applications to manage CAD engineering drawings from initial creation to final release, and to control the creation and closure of engineering drawing change orders.
Under the contract, McLaren will supply USA with software for document and drawing management.
Additional licenses will enable the bulk loading, rendering and web viewing of documents for operations personnel.
