Ross UK, based in Warley, West Midlands, has applied and been accepted as a member of the Metalforming Machinery Makers' Association (MMMA).

Ross UK is a manufacturer of pneumatic valves, control systems and safety products for the fluid power industry, with metal forming being one of its core industries.

Many critical applications rely on Ross equipment for control reliability, repeatability and longevity.

For the metalforming industry, the company supplies air distribution products, counterbalance, die cushions and control overloads as well as clutch and brake controls, isolation and load holding devices.

The MMMA acts as the central organisation promoting the common interests of its members involved in the manufacture and sale of metalforming machinery and ancillary products, including tooling in the UK.

Commenting on the new member, David Brotherton, Secretary of the MMMA said: "We are pleased to welcome another new member, which helps to strengthen the Association".

"As well as providing a voice for manufacturing, the MMMA offers members considerable benefits including special space discounts and subsidies at certain exhibitions both in the UK and overseas exhibitions, as well entry in the MMMA CD handbook and website with direct links to the members' own sites".

"Any metalforming machinery and ancillary equipment manufacturers with representation in the UK and wishing to join the Association, should contact me and I will pleased to help them".
