MetaSphere's Smart Telemetry Solutions provide a range of methods for employing telemetry data to improve business operations.
Harrison explains: "Because telemetry is such a core part of the business and such an enabler for Anglian Water, it was vital we went through a strict and exhaustive evaluation process".
"We needed to satisfy ourselves that the winning tender could offer a solid business proposal helping us deliver for the future; MetaSphere met all of these criteria".
The term of the agreement is for three to five years and during this time more than 4000 RTU units will be installed and maintained.

Stephen Darnell has joined ABB to lead the new IndustrialIT unit within its Automation Technology Products (ATP) business.
"It means we have secured ongoing telemetry services for the medium term", says Harrison: "we've maintained continuity of supply and development in line with Anglian Water's needs and, although MetaSphere is a new name, it has years of experience behind it which gave us the confidence that it could fulfil the terms of the agreement".
The questions asked in the tendering process were designed to establish that the chosen company could supply Anglian Water with RTUs suitable for its needs while also providing the necessary support services to make sure any issues could be resolved promptly.
Anglian Water was also looking for a company that had the technology and ideas to match its long-term strategy of exploiting telemetry.
A number of criteria were used to evaluate the technology, these included: compliance with the specification, compatibility with the existing infrastructure, compliance with nonfunctional requirements, warranty, technical support and training.
Anglian Water also had to consider product security, environmental management and supplier management as part of its thorough tendering process.
When scored and rated against each other, MetaSphere emerged as the clear winner.
In total, the agreement covers more than 8665 water and wastewater assets operated by Anglian Water, including 1478 in water, 5487 in wastewater and 1700 on water meters.
"This is a fantastic reflection of our skills, capabilities and technology offering", exclaims Steve Mustard, Managing director of MetaSphere.
"Although we are new in name, our history and expertise stretches back some 20 years".
"The contract reward from a company such as Anglian Water shows that we are the new force to be reckoned with in the world of telemetry".
