Maplewood Services has been awarded the UK's first ever franchise with TEGG, described as the worlds premier preventative electrical maintenance corporation.

Maplewood Services, family owned and operated, has been successful in being awarded the UK's first ever franchise with TEGG, described as the worlds premier preventative electrical maintenance corporation Father and son team, managing director, David Matthews, and his son Paul, general manager, are excited about the opportunity to introduce the TEGG concept into the UK marketplace

"The concept of guaranteed safety and uninterrupted power in the workplace is a unique paradigm shift in how electrical maintenance should be performed", said David.

General manager Paul Matthews adds: "Our clients both new and existing need to be able to work within fixed maintenance budgets, whilst not compromising safety or uninterrupted production.

"The unique TEGG programs give our clients just that".

Maplewood Services has grown and maintained a dedicated customer base on two elemental principles.

The first being a commitment to customer care rarely seen in today's market, coupled with an equally dedicated and close-knit workforce.

This obviously translates well to clients, with the personal touch creating long-term commercial and financial links.

All Maplewood service technicians are fully certified to NFPA70E, which exceeds BS 7671, and are trained at TEGG's dedicated facility in Pittsburgh, USA.

Preventative maintenance, to all intents and purposes in the UK, has consisted of a once-a-year 'torque up' of electrical contacts, and replacement of component parts on an 'ad-hoc' basis - or 'reactive' maintenance, ie when a problem develops a solution needs to found quickly, and usually expensively.

Using thermal imaging cameras together with ultrasonic probes and 21st century power quality metering, including harmonic distortion diagnosis, Maplewood Services now offers industrial, commercial and, in fact, all major electricity consumers the ability to install a low-cost preventative maintenance program.

In the majority of cases, savings made through identifying hot spots cover the cost of the program.

Maplewood Services' predictive preventative 'preferred' maintenance programs all carry guarantees against failure with replacement parts and labour at no charge to the client on any area of the electrical distribution system included in the program.
