ActivVisionTools is a family of ActiveX components, which enables designers to configure machine vision applications intuitively, with no need to acquire complex new programming skills.

ActivVisionTools 2.2 now fully supports Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 as well as in Microsoft Visual Basic.NET, and Microsoft CE.NET making it one of the most accessible image processing libraries.

Measurements are processed significantly faster as in former ActivVisionTools versions: in a few milliseconds the user can calculate distances, control the production quality and check component integrity.

All supported 1D barcodes can be read reliably even under adverse conditions, eg if the bar code's elements are very thin, or show defects like markings or spots.

Even distortions like frames or additional lines close to the barcode do not affect the identification.

The extensive list of supported 1D barcodes now includes two further types: PharmaCode and Code 93.
