Leutron Vision's micro PC (or LVmPC) is a modular compact PC system suitable for all kinds of vision applications and is now available throughout the UK and Ireland from Multipix Imaging A small footprint of only 91 x 92 x 182mm combines innovative notebook technology with modern frame grabber technology in an industrial compact case

Applications in medical, security and machine vision are just the starting point for the LVmPC.

Popular operating systems are supported, Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP, Linux and VXWorks along with a complete series of frame grabbers - analogue colour and monochrome, stereo monochrome, IEEE1394, CameraLink and RS644.

The LVmPC design offers flexibility in camera interface as well as in vision tools.

A number of development software packages are available including the extensive libraries from MVTec's Halcon and ActiveVisionTools.

The embedded target and development systems are one and the same, the user just connects a keyboard, mouse and monitor to start work.

Not only is development work easy but maintenance and field upgrades are additional benefits.

For all intensive purposes the LVmPC is standard PC with a choice of 933MHz Pentium 3 or 650MHz Celeron processor.

Interfacing includes 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet, USB, VGA mouse keyboard and COM1.

Up to four frame grabbers can be equipped plus optional PC Card for interface to PCMCIA. Request a free brochure from Multipix Imaging ...
