With an extensive range of remote head cameras Teli Japan has a camera available to suit a variety of applications.

Available in the UK and Ireland through Multipix Imaging, this specialist range of colour and monochrome remote head cameras offers a novel way of imaging.

Using 0.5, 0.33 and 0.25in CCD technology, Teli offers a choice of camera heads and from 17 to 12mm diameter.

A camera control unit or CCU controls this miniature head via a single multicore cable.

Separation between the head and CCU can be from 1 to 50m, depending on the camera.

Each camera has a range of features that make it unique in the series: for example, the CS-5131-P03 has a 0.5in CCD and 17mm head and is 601 approved for medical emission environments.

A very special feature on this camera also enables it to shutter at 1-2,000,000, ideal for welding applications.

In contrast the CS-5130PF-01 is the same 17mm 0.5in CCD head but a much smaller CCU, cable length up to 50m and an RGB output option.

New to the range is the CS-5801, an RGB camera head with three 0.33in CCDs.

Using an optical prism, each CCD concentrates on an individual colour (red, green, blue) to reproduce high colour definition colour images.

When only the very best image quality is required then the CS-5800 is hard to beat.

With an option of three CCD sizes, the CS-9000 series has a head for all applications.

Using the same cable and CCU, it is possible to exchange the head to suit individual imaging requirements.

Completing the range is the progressive-scan CS-3720.

Available with an IEEE1394 digital interface, this monochrome camera has all the features of a truly industrial camera, including partial scan, asynchronous reset/restart, internal and external sync, random trigger and up to 120frame/s.
