Linescan cameras upgrade to Gigabit Ethernet

A Multipix Imaging product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Nov 27, 2007

New series gives linescan camera applications the ability to use a Gigabit Ethernet interface and all the benefits that GigE brings.

Available now from MultiPix, the new Basler Runner series of GigE linescan cameras features seven models with up to 2Kpixel in monochrome or colour and a range of line rates up to 59kHz.

The development of this series gives linescan camera applications the ability to use a Gigabit Ethernet interface and all the benefits that GigE brings, including no frame grabber required and up to 100m cable lengths.

The premier member of this series is a trilinear CCD colour linescan camera.

Three independent CCD lines with 2098 pixel per line collect the colour information at a 9.2kHz line rate.

A compact housing and Basler's easy-to-use Pylon software package make the Runner series ready out of the box for a wide variety of vision applications.

Former CameraLink linescan camera users will experience a quick and easy setup process that lets them see their first images within minutes.
