Multipix Imaging has signed a new distribution agreement with MVTec Software, covering the territory of UK and Ireland.
MVTec is a leading international supplier of standard software products for machine vision.
The industrially proven software products Halcon and ActivVisionTools are used in a large variety of application areas, such as semiconductor industry, inspection applications, medicine and surveillance.
In July 2008 MVTec released a new revision of the Halcon 8.0 GigEVision interface which has a generic interface supporting GigEVision compliant cameras.
Furthermore, all parameter names have been made consistent to the GenICam Standard Feature Naming Convention.
In addition to this MVTec also provides specific GigEVision interfaces for other products offered by Multipix Imaging such as the Basler scout and pilot cameras, the Imperx Lynx cameras and Pleora iPort series.
