Multipix unveils Blade DVR express

Multipix Imaging has introduced the Blade DVR express unit, which takes just 1U of rack space and has full remote control over Ethernet.
Its embedded system design with no internal hard disk ensures reliability and low maintenance when compared to PC-based DVR systems, said Multipix.
Features of these units include precision time-stamping of video frames in hardware, hardware trigger inputs/outputs with FPGA-controlled timing manipulation, audio recording, and metadata recording over RS232.
A Mobile unit that is based on the Blade technology has been designed for use in vehicles and aircraft.
The Mobile unit features a touchscreen control panel.
This unit will be demonstrated at the Counter Terror Exhibition, London, February 2009.
